I am tracking my Loads in Excel and would like to import them into Roger.

How to Download the Template File

If you already have a file to import, please skip to How to Import Loads. You do not need to use the provided template file.

  1. Go to the Loads tab.
  2. Click on Import at the top right of the screen.
  3. Click Download the Excel Template file.
  4. The following fields are included in the template (You can leave fields blank):
    • Load Date
    • Load #
    • Origin Destination
    • Commodity
    • Rate
    • Rate UoM
    • Contact
    • Unload #
    • BOL #
    • PO #
    • Carrier
    • Shipper Notes
    • Internal Notes
    • # of Loads

How to Import Loads

  1. Go to the Loads tab.
  2. Click on Import at the top right of the screen.
  3. Click on Drop Files or Click to Upload.
  4. Select your .xlsx or .csv file. 
  5. Click Upload.
  6. On the next screen, you can map the columns from your uploaded file to the Roger fields. Use the drop-down menu to change the field mapping.
    • If the field names in the file are the same as the fields in Roger, the columns will be auto-matched.
  7. Once you've verified the field mapping, click Verify.
  8. The next screen will display any issues with the import.
  9. Roger will highlight errors with a red X. Click on the associated cell and select an option to resolve the error.
  10. Click on Import once you've corrected all errors.
  11. The imported loads will show in the Schedule tab.
